This reflects the fact that it is a major problem to find, train and keep knowledgeable, pay and manage an in-house team of security specialists in each individual field of security. This team is part of our Security Operations Centre, which we refer to as the Cyber Defence Centre. Through this centre, services are provided for detection, analysis and investigation of security events and incidents, keeping records of them, design or implementation of measures. One of the key functions of this centre is to distinguish a security event from an incident and to propose the appropriate steps to respond to these incidents. Security outsourcing also includes the operation and staffing of a single point of contact for reporting failures, problems, change requests and incidents.
